the park was so magical today
I'm so thankful that I set the alarm this morning, and that shone and I got up "in the middle of the night" to head down to the park and hula. We really have to start resetting our night owlish hours. Park days are here!
We are going to start having regular hula hoop in the park days now that the weather is getting warmer. It felt so good to be out in the sun for so long today. What a great idea A_delle had when she proposed a hula hoop mini workshop. I have been looking forward to this day for so long. I really enjoy learning hula hoop. There is something about the way that I move with the hoop, I love the way that I connect to it. I get an opportunity to check out, to zone, and become in motion with the hoop, the world goes calm around me. Even today when bassnectar was rocking in the background. Thank you Richard so much for bringing your radio, batteries, and playing music for us in the park.
Scott has been spending some time learning the hoop too! He's doing a great job. I love that the boys come out to hula with us!

I liked this view of Juice!! He picked up so many new tricks today at the park. He learns things in minutes. A_delle, you and Juice are so pleasant to be around. So fun, so creative, and always great energy! It's such a pleasure having hoop days with you!
I love this picture of Richard and A_delle, our two hula hooping heros. They share their time, their love, and their inspirations. Many smiles were shared at the park today. I really loved it when "q" showed up and talked about looking forward to bringing his dij and drums! Tribal sounds, hula hoops, the river, happiness!

Will had to work, but at least he still came down on his break, to share love and hugs, and get some sunshine.
