Hello darlings, I wanted to take a moment and ask of you (if you like), to share some advice, some tips, etc.. I have seen so many wordpress blogs on the internet, that I can't even count how many. I love the diversity, and all the unique blogs that have been created because of wordpress.
We are currently working on wordpress blog(s). But for those of you who are comfy in vox, I am not abandoning my vox blog either. I know there is a way, I just have to learn how to feed the new blogs into my vox blog. I will still be around both. I'm not switching because I don't like my vox blog, I actually love it, we are adding more blogs because of the growth of the site, and all of the things that are starting to blossom.....we just need more room. More room so that I can empty out my brain and empty out all of the stored information I have in there. More room so that shone can start emptying out part of his brain! More room so that I can play and interact with all of you a lot more! More room for you to play, enjoy, and interact! It's really all about creating a very fun playground!
More room so that bohocrush can keep growing, and growing the way we have always imagined it to. It really is a wild time of development right now. It has been for some time, yet it is really starting to reach that point where it can get released to the web. So exciting!!!!
It's such a fun time, (even though it takes considerable amount of hours, research, scratch, and start over) watching so many things develop and start to merge. I feel like a princess in a way, shone and david have spent the last week, morning, noon, and night, searching, finding, working, building, creating, and learning. They are a great working team!! Can't wait to share with you david's new website/blog as well!!! The internet is so FUN!!!
Shone might be turning the new blog over to me soon, to move into! And if any of you are cancers like david and I are, you understand the "move in" process. If only there was a way to make nag champa flow from our blog while you were on it!! Now that would be really fucking cool!
If any of you would like to share about any of your experiences with blogs, websites, wordpress, if you are a reader, or a blogger, whatever you feel like sharing, I welcome you to add your input. We are all connected in this world, and sharing adventures is that part that adds so many more experiences than you could have ever imagined.
What makes you want to read a blog?
What makes you want to comment on a blog?
Do you like lots of pictures? videos? podcasts?
How many of you use twitter? Are you following me?
and last but not least.....the most important question I would like to ask, and would love for you to answer,
Over the past few months we have been building and working on a community for bohocrush. We've always wanted a place where all of the members of our website could interact, based on a platform that was founded on happiness, self expression, love for all, and most importantly, a place to escape the world, a place that once you enter, you know you are in a different space in your mind. An energy source to connect to, to stay inspired by, share creativity, love, passion, and yourself. To find new likes, new collaborations, and new adventures. A place where we could all combine all of our passions into one place. And a special place that could allow interaction between all of the different worlds that existed there.
We spend most of our time with silly, kind, loving, creative, and sharing people. Most of whom we shoot or collaborate with for shone's artworks. We are so thankful for all of the magical earthlings who cross our path. You'll find many of these magical creatures on the planet. Introduce yourself to everybody, you just never know what adventure is waiting for you.
To build a profile on planetboho we ask you to please join and support bohocrush. You can join for the entire year for $48, which is about $4.00 a month, or you can join monthly for $12. Once you have joined the website, use that same email to sign up for planetboho. Create your username and password and submit, your email will then be verified, and we'll see you on the other side.
As a participant of bohocrush.com:
If you are a performer, artist, or individual who is looking to express in pictures, and life, and who wishes to help create fun, silly, sexy, content for our website, we shoot for trade, and we offer you a free membership to bohocrush and profile on planetboho, in exchange for your photos with shone's artistic expressions on our website. email me
what are you going to do for one hour without any power? hmmmmmmmmm, I am going to give shone a massage, I think it will be great to give a massage in the dark, the only way you can see anything is with your hands, what a great time that will be. even though it doesn't take a massage license to give a great massage, it sure does help, ;) and yes, I am going to be giving him a happy ending!
celebrate your love for the earth-kisses
Boy, last years burning man experience, has been one of the best ever. There were so many adventures that were planted while on the playa. And so many of them have already been started, and growing and gathering momentum.
sometimes I sit back and think I am watching a TV station with all kinds of channels, and then all of a sudden I realize that we are on all of the channels, it's really trippy, because its such an out of body experience...... it just makes my mind wander off and find a calm place, a place where I can reboot, and in the process am able to grow my mental ability to take on even more, but in a calm, relaxed, and slow intake of information. It is a great journey and current lesson of my life:
"slow down..........................., there is no hurry, things will manifest of which those will manifest, and those that won't will not, don't use your energy battling an unnecessary battle, instead, refocus, use that energy to love, to share, and to grow. Let go, open up your arms, and expose yourself to the world, fill your heart and mind with love, smile, and simply enjoy everything there is around you."
Last year we made a connection with two amazing people. Mykal and Vee. A talented, creative, sexy, and passionate couple. We met them online, and were able to meet them in person on the playa last year. It just so happens that they came to our rescue, and were able to give david, a friend of ours, (that you all know by now) a ride to burning man from LA. They just happened to be riding up with Sujon and Victor of lightworship.com, and we were able to meet yet another amazing couple! (we are so in love with all of you of whom the universe has treated us to!)
Shone and I really wanted to be a fly on their motor home wall, we knew or at least hoped they would all have fun and enjoy their time together. It's not everyday I try to put complete strangers together: a dj from the U.K. with a fetish/rope/fire artist/photographer and a fetish/rope artist/pornographer in a long ride on their way to burning man, a radical festival of magnitude out in the middle of a desert, with extreme conditions, and all of which are virgins(never been to burning man)........all I can say here, is trust in the universe, and just know that everything will be fine, and work out. Burning man does that to you...it's one of those things that you really can't explain too well, but you really understand when it happens to you first hand. Things will be, they will happen as they need, and when the right time presents it so. Life is uncontrollable timing, patience and flow. Getting in the burner frame of mind! Oh how I miss the playa....anybody else?
can you feel it on your skin, can you feel it in your heart, can you hear the magic? oh my, I am really thinking of the playa right now, and all of the magic that happens out there.
It's so exciting to help out the Shiva Vista project...reno's largest art project to hit the playa. A performance stage in fact of which mykalbinds.com will be performing on this year on the playa!!! yahooo! (Make sure you come to the next fundraiser party on April 19th, 2008 at the Zephyr if you are in reno. I'll post flyer when I get it.)
Mykal is up for some business in reno, and while they are here we get to visit, and hopefully get some photoshoots in with them. Mykal has to work on saturday, and A_delle and I want to kidnap vee and take her to the park to hula hoop! We shall see what arises. We are just so excited to get to see them, and have the opportunity to discuss the playa a little bit. They are all confirmed with tickets in hand for this year, and with more friends. We can hardly wait to see what adventure that will be!
-I love all of the magical adventures that we come across. I am surely in no hurry to jump anywhere anytime fast. I simply am having too much fun just enjoying the moment, and enjoying all the magic around me. Looking forward to giving mykal and vee a big hug!!!!
The night of the winterbash we had the danger booty in town for her first full photo shoot! It was spectacular!! ( you'll have to see those pics when they are released on the website.) We worked her hard, up early in the morning, out in the snow, full nude, back down the hill, on a bridge, (fully nude) she was such a good sport, back to the studio for more shoots, and with another person, scott. Wow, that was such a hot shoot too. I don't mean to tease you with pictures that I have seen and that you have not, and who knows when you will, ;) but I have too. They were really cool! and a great new level for bohocrush.
After all the shooting we made it to the winter bash. Glad that we made it! It was one fun day that we "got to" spend great times with a bunch of our friends.... would never be as much fun without them. They really add some magically delicious adventures.
Dustin sports the coolest mohawks ALWAYS!!! I hope it never ends! And we were pleased to see the danger booty walking down the street in the view of our camera! Thank you for such a pose girl!
Last night we had a little get together at the Satellite. Bohemian Burlesque played and teased the audience, and it was HOT! Hope you were there to see that! They entertained to a full house, and it was quite difficult for Shone to even get near the show.
There were quite a few photographers in the house last night. I was bartending and while looking out into the crowd, I saw so many cameras, and I don't mean the little digital kind, I mean the canons, and mark 3. I hope they all got great pictures, because they were the ones up in the front who could get them.
We feel In life, not all things are needed to be explained so thoroughly and understandably. Where would the mystery and imagination be if it were? It's more important in life for all of us to find things that we relate to, and that inspire us, because it makes it possible for us all to find a connection and then to fill in lots of our own adventures, which adds so much color to our own unique canvas and path of life.
We are so thankful for the many friends who support us. I could sit here and try to say all of their names, but then it would be like the oscars, where they start playing the music because your speech is too long. All I know is that without any of them, we would not be where we are today and growing into the future!
If you are in the local reno area, and would like to join our burlesque troupe, we would like to hear from you. We practice on Sundays, but if you can't make it, please don't let that stop you. There is always a way when the desire is there, please email me: georgette and I will get you linked in. We are a newly forming troupe, with more girls and now some boys who like to come in, join, and play. We are light-hearted, loving, silly types; some of which have dance and performance experience and some of those who don't. There are fire, stilt, hula, and aerialist performers, singers, jugglers, and much more who have joined to play with our troupe off and on. We welcome you to do the same. NO, that is not correct! We highly encourage you to do the same! and join the burlesque, even if you can't make the practices, there is always a way to participate and share your time and bliss with us. We don't take things or life too seriously, so please be prepared for some free thinking, wandering spirits. We share our time and love together, because we want to, not because it is our job, and that it is what we must do. We all participate on what our level is, and we all enjoy the variety that it creates. Please come play with us.
Hope to see you at one of our next events or get togethers. We have lots of magical things in the works. Please keep an eye on our bohocrush calendar under events. (a non-member section of the website)

Life As We Know It
The Status Quo
When our lives are going well, and sometimes even when they aren’t, we
may find ourselves feeling very attached to the status quo of our
existence--life as we know it. It is a very human tendency to resist
change as though it were possible to simply decide not to do it, or
have it in our lives. But change will come and the status quo will go,
sooner or later, with our consent or without it. We may find at the end
of the day that we feel considerably more empowered when we find the
courage to ally ourselves with the universal force of change, rather
than working against it.
Of course, the answer is not to go about changing things at random,
without regard to whether they are working or not. There is a time and
place for stability and the preservation of what has been gained over
time. In fact, the ability to stabilize and preserve what is serving us
is part of what helps us to survive and thrive. The problem comes when
we become more attached to preserving the status quo than to honoring
the universal givens of growth and change. For example, if we allow a
situation we are in to remain stagnant simply because we are
comfortable, it may be time for us to summon up the courage to
challenge the status quo.
This may be painful at times, or surprisingly liberating, and it will
most likely be a little of both. Underneath the discomfort, we will
probably find excitement and energy as we take the risk of unblocking
the natural flow of energy in our lives. It is like dismantling a dam
inside ourselves, because most of the work involves clearing our own
inner obstacles so that the river of our life can flow unobstructed.
Once we remove the obstacles, we can simply go with the flow, trusting
the changes that follow.
the art of rope tying and the passion and experience behind it is explorative, adventurous, and it teaches us a lot about ourselves. we all can have a hard time letting go, sharing our vulnerability, and or showing our desires for growth, experience, and curiousities.
we look forward to many more bounded experiences!
It was so great seeing Kristi again, and spending time with her. We love her energy, her goddessness, and her playfulness. Do you think david was bothered? ;)
thank you again ryano for creating a fun party for us to come play at. We are really getting to like Bliss NightClub. Such a fun place to hang out with all of your friends. I really enjoy looking up and seeing david playing!
